To our Crawford Podiatry patients and Medi-Pedi Nail Spa Clients:
In light of the current Coronavirus outbreak, I would like to assure you that we take your health and safety very seriously.
In an effort to remain open and serve you, we will continue to use meticulous cleaning protocols. We are going beyond the current CDC recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting our office including waiting areas, treatment rooms, and equipment.
We will continue to use disposable gloves for all patient and client contact. Hand sanitizer and antibacterial soap is readily available for all staff and visitors.
In order to keep other patients and clientele healthy, we ask that any person who is experiencing symptoms such as sore throat, cough, fever, or difficulty breathing, please contact us to reschedule your appointment. If you live with someone who currently has these symptoms, we also ask that you reschedule your appointment. Current CDC recommendations are to remain at home until you are free of fever for 72 hours and your symptoms are improved.
When coming into our office or Nail Spa, you must wear a mask at all times. The mask must cover both your mouth and nose.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment unless you have been specifically asked to come earlier by our staff. This is to reduce the number of people in our waiting room for compliance with social distancing regulations.
Please enter the office by yourself. Family members/ drivers should wait in their vehicles. If you need assistance, one person may accompany you. Minors may have one parent with them.
We will continue to monitor and abide by the State of Pennsylvania and CDC recommendations and guidelines. Our priority will remain the health and safety of our patients.
Specifically for our Medi-Pedi Nail Spa Clients: We will reopen on Monday, June 8. Due to a large number of clients to be rescheduled, the following protocols are currently in place:
Those clients that had an appointment cancelled due to Covid-19 will be given first priority to reschedule. We will begin calling clients the week of June 1 in the order of the cancellations. If your appointment was cancelled, there is no need to call us. We will reach out to you. If you did NOT have an appointment scheduled, please call to leave a request and you will be added to the waiting list. We will be trying to accommodate as many clients as possible, but due to state and federal restrictions, we are only able to schedule 50% of our normal clients and the number of staff is limited. Please be patient and flexible with us.
In addition, we will not be offering any of our Spa-level services until restrictions are further lifted. All services will be Classic-level. You will not be permitted to change or add to your service once arriving for your appointment. (For example, adding a French Polish or Gel Polish). This is necessary so that we can remain on schedule so there is sufficient time to clean and sanitize between clients. You will be permitted to schedule only one service per visit. This will allow us to get everyone in as quickly as possible.
We know this is not ideal, but we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
